How It Works

The delivery sequence: Qualify → Contract → Discover → Diagnose → Evidence → QA → Mandate → Report → Accept.

  1. Qualify — confirm the workflow, scope, exclusions, and the questions you want answered.
  2. Contract — agree the engagement in writing before any evidence work starts.
  3. Discover — structured discovery with the people who actually do the work.
  4. Diagnose — map the current-state process and its handoffs.
  5. Evidence — collect and review the agreed evidence sources.
  6. QA — independent review of material findings before they reach you — a reviewer separate from whoever authored the finding checks it against the evidence.
  7. Mandate — prioritise the findings into an Improvement Mandate, with dependency and risk noted against each item.
  8. Report — an executive report and full handover.
  9. Accept — a formal acceptance record, with any agreed correction window.

A later stage is never marked complete just because work has started on it, and missing evidence stays visible rather than papered over.
